Measurement Guide

"Every Maren A&O piece is crafted with precision.

Use this guide to provide the measurements that allow our atelier to tailor your garment to you."

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest.

Keep the tape level and comfortably fitted — never tight.

Stand naturally. Do not expand your chest.

Shoulder Width

Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other, across the back.

This determines the structure and fall of the garment.

Sleeve Length

Measure from the top of your shoulder down to your wrist.

Keep your arm relaxed at your side.

Body Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder down to your desired hem length.

For a classic fit, measure to the top of the hip.
For a slightly longer silhouette, extend below.

Units

Measurements may be provided in centimetres or inches.

Simply indicate the unit when submitting.

Size Guide FAQ

How do I measure my chest for a sweater?

Wrap a measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest while keeping the tape level and relaxed.

Should sweaters be tight or loose?

Cashmere sweaters typically look best with a comfortable fit that allows natural movement without being overly loose.

How do I measure sleeve length for a sweater?

Start measuring at the top of your shoulder and run the measuring tape down along your arm to your wrist. Keep your arm slightly bent for the most accurate sleeve measurement.

What if I am between sizes?

If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size for a tailored look or the larger size for a relaxed fit.

Do cashmere sweaters stretch over time?

High-quality cashmere naturally adapts to your body while maintaining its shape. With proper care and correct storage, cashmere knitwear should not significantly stretch over time.

Timeless — just a little more you.
